Gallery 1 : The Paint Process : Vauxhall Astra
This vehicle came into us with moderate cosmetic damage to the nearside rear quarter panel, nearside door and colour coded moulding. Once repaired by our body technician, the vehicle is masked to localise repair, and Dupont Compliant 2 Pack primer is applied.
The vehicle is prepared ready for colour. As in the primer stage, the rest of the vehicle is totally masked off. Dupont Cromax water base is applied, left to dry, ready for the final clear coat.
Once the vehicle is painted and baked in our low bake oven, the clear coat is rubbed down and polished to a high standard finish. The finished vehicle, repaired, repainted and ready for delivery back to the customer.
